Sorry excuse. People have been sacrificing their own children for months just to get their hands on them.
I sure hope you bought them from Super Happy Smile Time Parts Shop and not the Eeeeeeeeeeevil Meanie Pants Vendor.
Yeah...I bought them from the supposed prick back in October. The shop literally just called and said it sounds "nasty as all hell". Said it has a tone he hasn't heard before and liked it. We'll see later.
Thanks! Evo Stage II, Evo Ultimate Lowering, Aluminum driveshaft, afco he, shelby shifter, kooks lts catted x, KR's, True Forged 20" wheels + a bunch of other goodies.
DAMN that sounds good. I might need LTs now. Just got mine today. Gonna take video of the 5GTs, the KRs, then the KRs with the SLP midpipe for comparison.
Going to have a camera mounted on the body of the car and the dash, can't wait to get it goin.

Yeah...my 8 yr old camera man did a shitty job, that's what I get for using a non-union worker. I don't know how but he missed the startup!
I don't believe they stick out as much as yours...I didn't get concerned when I saw mine and I had your comments in the back of my head when I looked at them. One tip is not centered thou...looks like I will tackle that in the near future.

Here's my new KRs with a stock system. They were just installed today, so they may sound a little different after break-in. Sorry for the poor quality, I'll edit with some better clips tomorrow.

Yea my installer had to tweak mine a bit, as one was about 1/4" lower than the other. Just bent the hanger slightly, now perfect. I know, I'm anal.
Loosen the mid pipe bolts and then the entire exhaust system can be moved around enough to get the tips lined up perfectly, then while having someone watch the tips, tighten the mid pipe back up and then the mufflers and your done, perfect tips!

learned that from teamshelby
Great tip thanks. I told my installer about that, but he just heated the hanger a bit and it went up the 1/4". End justified the means I guess.
You add headers to ANY exhaust system ALL bets are off if it will sound good or not unless the entire system is made for each other.
Usually, it will go to the worse. I had to plug and play serveral different mufflers and pipe configerations the last time I did a header install until I could get the exhaust tone I wanted and could tolerate.
Too loud, too raspey, too much drone, too quiet... I like a deep rumble. Not a raspey fart can Ricer sound.
Be nice if one of you venders could provide some sound clips of different combos for us. Thats the biggest deterrance for me in buying headers. THE PAIN of getting the right sound.
i am happy with my 5gt's as they got a little louder after a few miles. plus i will give up the lt sound for my blowoff sound

No my driver side actually has been an issue with every unit I put on. BTW...I checked on my tips and they definitely don't stick out like yours. Mine don't come out past my bumper as yours appear to.
