I think you may have to have a Photobucket account to play the video. I could be wrong though.

I know the sound you're looking for, but unless you stuff a 426 hemi in there, I don't think it's possible. I can say that after hearing these mufflers in person rather than on sound clips, they are music to my ears. Of course, it's a matter of taste. I don't think there's any more subjective issue than exahust.
Enjoy!

I actually kinda like the sound of the KR's with the Kooks. Very unique.

The SGT does it for me ;) The KR is too high pitched for me even in person. Plus, I think they look bad. That's just my opinion - lots of people hate the SGT

I wonder if mine stick out furthur because of the long tubes, Anyways I am glad the majority of you guys like the KR's I plan on tweeking the fit on mine. Straighten the passenger side and see if I can push the tips in closer to the bumper so they wont stick out so far. I plan on staying with the KR's for awhile to see if these grow on me, And I sold my 5GT today, I only exhaust I have are the JBA and stock, Neither one of them are gonna work for me for sure. Thanks for your opinions everyone

It's the mid pipe giving you the raspy sound. Be patient, there is an H-pipe coming for our Kooks that will give it the deep sound your looking for!!

It will be built by a shop in S. Florida.... I can't wait to get this X-pipe off even know it's huge step above stock. My GT with stock manifolds, catted H-pipe and Magnaflows sounds much better than my GT500 with Kooks, OR-X and Magnaflows....

I have the SGTs, nice mufflers but sorta boring dont you think, they don't have that grab your attention bark.

I never liked the stangs sound as well when they moved the muffs behind the axle

Hey John I am really considering seling my SGTs for the KRs, you might push me over the edge if you get yours on first!

Oh I started another thread where you can hear my SGTs under full throttle for comparison

I know you have them as well but I for one had never really heard them

I just took mine out for a spin...I think they sound good...nice volume but not over the top and no drone. Might have to keep them for when that H comes out.

from what i hear on youtube of the 5gt's and kr's i am leaning towards the kr's since they have what seems to me as a somewhat unique sound and the 5gt's sound like the average "mustang". However i'm wanting the loud and obnoxious axle back out there, so tell me folks would the 5gt's be the one i'm looking for or just get the kr's and an o/r h or x pipe?

The more I listen to that garage clip... the more I love it. Please post a clip of the car on the highway or around the block!!! I think this will be added to my wish list.

My clip? Weather permitting I hope to add on in the next week or two...nothing but snow squalls/flurries the last 2-3 weeks = no car time.
