Hey guys im new to the site. I have this buddy with a 335xi with all the mods available for it uptodate..catless down pipes, Juice Box ECU, CAI. I rock a 09 Grabber O/flat black super snake style stripes with lethals catless x-pipes. Now of course he keeps up but a lose is a lose. STILL he is conviced that his ride is faster and tells the e90 post that he can take a GT500. Long story short I think his post had an impression on these guys because now more Euro guys are talking smack about mustangs, will it be gt OR cobra!!! I'd like to hear your experiences with these Euro owners and how the situation was handled.
I tell them to take their nazi sled and drive off a cliff... Than whoop that ass!! Lol
I recently attended the BMWNA Octoberfest in Atlanta, Ga. with my best friend who brought down three restored BMWs for the Concours shows. I had the good fortune to take two laps of Road Atlanta in a Ring Taxi BMW M5 driven by a professional driver from BMW motorsport. That car has brutal acceleration, cornering power beyond belief, and brakes up the ying yang. It was the most fun I've had with my clothes on in many years. I would not want to live on the difference in acceleration between my 07 Gt500 and this monster V10. It definitely would outbrake and outhandle my car. It was not modified and on street tires, no less. What he could make that car do was beyond belief! BMWs are fantastic cars and should be given credit for what they are, albiet, much more expensive and different then our cars. Wife and I also test drove a new 2009 M3 with the V8 and the Shelby would have taken it in acceleration, but God, did that car handle and stop. The car mags are right on when they name it the best over-all performance sedan on the planet. I love my Shelby, but to disrespect BMWs performance abilities shows a little naivete' for these capable machines. Using the term "Nazi sled" is offensive to those of us with German backgrounds. Kinda like the N word over here, which is equally offensive. Nuf said.

Raced a 2009 911 today on my way to F40 Motorsports to go to cars and coffee. I pulled away steady and strongly. I think the 3rd gear tire hazing psyched him out a bit, so when he had the chance after the race I slowed down and he shot around me at twice the speed of sound and I never pursued him. Nice little Nazi rocket I have to say though!
Just wanted to add that I think those cars trap around 116 ish? Anyone know? I got a little jump on him ( to be fair in reporting) because I know from experience that a few mph trap speed difference is only a fender in the real world.

I donno ma man... I Havnt had the chance to dyno my car yet so I cant talk shit, but what I can say is that my friend has a 08 srt10 and from a 40 roll I was able to keep up with him. of course we stoped the run at 140k. (Shelbys nose was right beside the srt10s driver.)
Im sorry but thats 100% bullshit run...I raced 3 M5s and managed to pwned them, why because of its lack of torque. 2009 M6 Pulled after 3rd gear engaged.
