Slowly giving the Porsche a complete detail...
A work in progress and so far over the course of a few days I have done the following.
Exterior:
Foam Wash
Hand Wash
Claybar
Gray pad w/Menzerna 106
Red pad w/Wolgang seal (low speed just to apply) hand applied the seal to the hard to reach areas.
Front Wheels/Tires/Fenderwells/Brake Calipers:
Simple green, 409, and Tide detergent wash (wheels, tires, fenderwells and brake calipers
Polished with Mothers Alum Polish
Sealed both sides of the wheels and brake calipers with Wolfgang seal.
Interior:
Complete interior detail, applied leather conditioner, over all normal interior routine, including q-tipping.
I'll post pictures as I complete the detail. To date, I have the following pictues to share but will be doing a better exterior detail on the car soon.

Question for you, whats the benefit of using Tide as apposed to say Dawn or a car wash soap?
- Nice work btw, I always enjoy your write ups.

Thanks!
I use tide at times because I feel it is a little stronger than dawn.
Personal preference I guess. That and I have tried to clean things in the past with both and it seems detergent breaks things down a bit better.
Cheers,
Allen

Thanks, I am looking into getting some more pads so I tend to ask a few questions.
Yeah I LOVE Octoberfest, I buy a case every year.
This pic also makes the car look super wet even though its not in sunlight

Craig,
I actually replaced the S4 with an E55 AMG and sold the E a while back as I was set on a Porsche.
Hope all is well down your way.

Mixed simple green and 409 together, 50/50. The detergent was in water and applied after I used the sg/409 mix.

I love Porsches! My roommate has a 1977 911 Targa. Gorgeous cars. Even the classics look new. Excellent job on those wheels! You are motivating me to get out and do this to mine this week.
