# Thread: Hellcat Priced at $59k 1. ## Hellcat Priced at$59k

2. So much for the 70k plus tag guys were saying on this forum lol

3. I could live with that! but dealers will throw 15k on it just because...

4. At $59K there should be a bunch sold. There are dealers that will ADM these, but when you are in the market, and really look, you can find the deal you want for any (almost) car. E 5. I hope that's the actual price and not some kind of hoax. And I'm sure there will definitely be some ridiculous mark-ups.... 6. 7. Assuming these are produced in large enough numbers to actually be available for that price, this is going to be a problem for Ford and GM. x2 if they put the engine in a Charger.

8. Yeah, dealers will likely mark them up, at least initially. The base price is definitely lower than I expected. I will be interesting to see how fast they sell if dealer markup doesn't get crazy.

9. I'm sold.

11. If it really comes in at 59k (not includiing mark up) then it should do amazing

12. wowowowowowowow.

Very impressive.

13. Going to be a lot of butthurt GM/Ford owners at that price.

14. There are a few Dodge dealers here in S FL that discount every model pretty heavy off sticker. It'll be interesting to see how they price them.
This is all good news for car fans!

15. link to source? and are there more sources out saying this is for sure the msrp?

16. At $59K base ( most likely 6 speed manual ), I look for Dodge to produce quite a few of these cars, ie: that of the 2013-14 GT500. So, for an estimated$63-64K for 8 speed automatic, this car is a great bang for the buck if you can afford it.

17. Holy sticker non-shock. $60k would be a steal. Dodge looks to be bringing a game changer. I will fully admit i was wrong, this thing should sell huge. 18. Still ugly as hell, but damn good price 19. I'll be ****ING speechless if it is based at$59k! That would be amazing!!!!

20. Definitely a game changer if this is true. Pricing for competitors is either going to fall or they're going to come out swinging with some nice performance gains next year. Should be interesting to see!

21. The powerplant not forged or hand built right? Considering the GT500 is I think it is still the better car. The only advantage is that auto but regardless that is still not a bad price.

22. Most of the ZL1 guys are crying right now about this car. All they like to bring up is id rather have a car that corners lol. Or i can build a car for less that is faster. Show me a car with factory warranty that runs 10s for this price.

23. Wow! Thats a low price. I would expect a giant markup initially. Dealers are going to take advantage.

24. Color me impressed. That is probably the 6-speed base model price. if I were to guess, the fully-loaded auto will come in right above a fully loaded 13-14 GT500, when it's all said and done.

I'm personally not a fan of the Hellcat, but I would make sweet love to a Charger with this engine package.

Now we need Ford to come back with a nice counter-punch.

25. I need Ford to come out with a fast 4 door car with a V8 lol. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Pe...icles_GT-P.jpg
