    tremec tko install in a 97 cobra....?

    has anyone put a tremec tko in a 96 -98 cobra ?

    need to find out what the spacer size is between the

    the transmission mount and the crossmember.

    got to get the drive train angle correct to get rid of the vibrations.

    did it, the easiest way to deal with it is to order the bracket from Pauls High Performance and then you can kee the crossmember where it is and then just run the bracket from the tranny to the crossmember giving you the correct angle. the bracket is like 50 bucks.

    If you dont opt to get the PHP tranny adapter, you will have to machine an aluminum 1.125" x 1.125" sq. x 6" in length to sit above the tranny mount..Also lose the stock tranny mount and get an Energy suspension tranny mount...DA snake boy!!!!

    got the energysuspension trans. mount.. big difference.
    just got a real bad vibration almost the whole time the car is moving .
    moved the cross member up didnt know about the bracket, but i think i would rather have the spacer with the cross member up. does it make a difference which way its done?

    how sturdy is the php braket and how much does it weigh.

    its like an inch thick piece of steel, doesn't seem to heavy but it is very sturdy. i went with the bracket because i didn't have time to deal with the measuring and fabing cause im getting ready for finals. its just a bolt and go.
