I think he typod or brain farted on the MSRP. 53,600 is the MSRP of a coupe with SVTPP, a vert with SVTPP would be 58,600.

Just bought a new 2012 GT500 SVT with Nav, etc. Sticker was $56350.00 and I paid $52000. But the dealer gave me $18000 for my '08 GT I had for two years and only paid $19000 for when I got it.

Purchased a slightly used one owner 2011 Red with Gray stripes with 2400 miles for $41,200 + taxes in November. Still can't believe the deal i got! I had too pay to have it shipped but still got a hell of a deal. Had been looking to buy one for a long time and finally came across a deal i couldn't pass up. Was the exact color combo i wanted too. Patience payed off.

I bought my 2011 Shelby GT500 in Olympia, Wa. on June 22, 2010. I paid $60,000.00 for it. It has a Performance Package, Electronics Package, Glass Roof, and $1000.00 of the price was for seat treatment, underneath treatment, and some other bullshit they claimed would help the car. My car is Kona Blue. The registration says $59,000.00 paid for the car, but I already told you about the other amount. Cash price too. It also cost me like $5,600.00 to register it and pay taxes on in in Louisiana. They had to have their piece of the pie too. so altogether, car, extra charge, license and registration comes to $65,600.00 Praise the Lord.................

My MSRP was $52,210 with Navigation.
I had a trade so they did not drop the MSRP but they gave me a good price for my tade in vehicle.
And I know I paid too much but I wanted the scribbling on the Dash and the Head Rests.

Read on another forum that Ford has a program for leftover 2012's that gives the dealers an extra $2500 of room to deal. They are calling it " a retail marketing allowance program"... Perhaps they took that into consideration when he got his deal.

I'm hoping for a 13', but if Ford starts offering any more rebates, i may have to pull the trigger on a 12 ;) If they get up to 5k off, i'll be able to pick up a base model for $40k.

Any reason to buy a new 2012 over a slightly used 2012 or 2011 with say 700 to 6,000 miles?

I don't know. I had pricing deals between 3 dealers and ended up getting one close by me.

    1) Silver stripe delete, Recaro, SVTPP and cover for $48,400
    2) Silver stripe delete, exact same, for $48,600
    3) White stripe delete, Nav/elec, SVTPP, Recaro and cover for $49,999
    4) White stripe delete, Nav/elec, SVTPP and Recaro for $50,500

    I went with 4 since:
*it was closest (40miles vs. over 200 with the other 3) extra miles/gas on my truck to get there and back too.
*higher vin/later assembly date (sept delivery vs May, May & June)
*was inside a show room the whole time vs. being outside on 2 of the others)

Also on a side note my wife and I have been planning on a Boss 302 for
over a year now, when the 2013 GT500 was announced I figured a 2012 GT500 might be possible and dealers could be dealing on price instead of MSRP or ADMs. We added another year of payments but our payment is where we expected of we had gotten a Boss 302. My local Ford dealer has a Red GT500 for $71,000 still with their $15k ADM and 3 Boss 302s each with $7k ADMs.

There is a White 2012 here in DFW with a dealer invoice of 44+k. I saw the invoice and it was less than 45K. I can't remember all the details but it had recaro seats.

Sounds like the seats would be only option. No SVTPP/elec-nav.

Dealer delivered my new-to-me 2011 Shelby GT500 today. Love the car and snapped a few pics with my phone. She's loaded with the SVTPP and electronics package with Nav. Car has 4K miles and the previous owner put a pypes mufflers system and left the stock system in the trunk. Got her from Ray Skillman Ford dealership in Indiana.
