I thought for sure the Cobra was in trouble with 1000+ hp and stock wheels? Why have that much power and try to run with either street tires or drag radials? You need a full slick, larger than what would fit on stock wheels.

From what it looked like the cobra's last pass was 10.3 @135. That's not a 1000 hp cobra and only trap 135! Unless he lifted way early

The vid was great and those cars sounded just awesome. I kinda thought for a 1,000hp car mid 10's was kinda weak, fabulous car though.

They wont play for me either, but from the looks of the other post it doesn't sound that good for a 1000hp car. 10.30's are fast, but there are eaton cars doing that.

it didnt look like that 1000whp cobra was beating that 475ish whp vette that bad?

Using the eye's good old depth perception it look to me that:

On the first run that Cobra was at least 6 cars lengths ahead of the Vette after being behind at least two car lengths at the 1/8 mile mark. The TT's finally wound up at the 1/8th mark.

On the second run the Cobra's TT's took much less time to wind up and he was about 10 cars lengths ahead at the end of the run.

That Cobra absolutely gutted that Vette.

He has Hooiser 335's and they do hook. He does not want to run a full slick.
Here is a guy with a similar setup running 9.50's on stock wheels just fine. http://videos.streetfire.net/search/turbo+cobra/1/506d9d1d-d639-4067-a472-982500015c1b.htm

I will talk to Manny today and see what happened. He was already going 10.1 @ 137 on only 19 lbs and 820 HP so something was up. Maybe a slipping clutch or something because he is running 24 lbs now.

He really needs an auto and solid rear but he doesn't want to go that route.
