Damn you!!!!!! Now im going to have to waste my money and get some Borla XR1's.... Even though you have a pushrod, that still sounds like a demon pissed off
Edit: Aren't the borla xr1's similar to Dynomax Racing Bullets?? Or is the stinger muffler?
I have looked all through this and still can't find the combo I want to hear. Any kind of long tubes, any kind of off road X pipe and Mac Cat Back. A friend of mine had it on his 97 but it was so long ago I can't remember how it really sounded. I had it on all of my other cars and loved it but its hard to let this Borla go.
next weenend im going to weld on some 3.5' pipes out back with some dynomax racing bullets to replace my glasspacks.. also have BBK L/T's and BBK o/rxpipe so it will sound good
Anyone running a borla svo side exit kit with an o/r h-pipe. Ive run the cat back with a bassani x-pipe cats and no cats and didnt care for it much so now im thinking o/r h-pipe.

Anyone have an H-pipe with Bassani c/b? If I get lucky and keep my car, I'd like to try an H sometime
I had an o/r H with bassani cat back and it sounded fantastic! However it was very loud.
Now I have the Bassani c/b with a modded stock H-pipe. (removed the rear cats)
It sounds great! Very smooth, a hint of exotic to it, not to quiet, not too loud. At least to me, for DD. On the track (road course) I'd like it just a hair louder, but I wouldn't want it any louder on the street.

'97 Cobra: 4.10's, FMS driveshaft, Pro 5.0 shifter, o/r H 3-chamber flowmaster CB.
'96 Cobra: 3.90's, Pro 5.0 shifter w/stock handle, removed rear cats on stock H pipe, FMS driveshaft, Bassani SS CB, FMS Mach 1 coil springs, MMFLSFC's, Steeda quadrant.
I had an H pipe on my 96 Cobra with a Bassani Cat Back and it sounded terrible.
Curious, what didn't you like about it?
I found that with the o/r H there would be a slight truck sound at high load and low rpm. But I don't spend much time pushing the gas hard at low rpm so I didn't care.

thats my setup but with dumps. Its earth shaking and amazing. I love it.

Hooker LT and x with 2 chamber flowmaster CB. Condensation, old gas, 9 degrees out side. Car looks like a chimney. Usually sounds a little better than this but..

96 cobra with bbk long tubes, off road h pipe, and magnaflow magna packs dumped. it was cold out so the car sounds louder than normal and it was snowy so i left it under the car cover.
JLT CAI, MGW shifter, Auburn Pro Diff, Moser 31 spline axles, 4.30 gears, TA diff cover, o/r h-pipe, 40 series flowmasters.
