I'm running kenne bell. cant post pics or videos. in Iraq what do you want a video of? idk why more people dont run kenne bells? maybe because theres not intercooler. i like the low end TQ it gives. still pulls up top too. so im happy. It's real fun around town.

i did a lot of research choosing between upgrading my vortech vs a kenne bell and the vortech seemed to make more power and plus, i was not impressed with the kb numbers.
That's just me though.
oh, and if i remember correct, the kb is NOT intercooled.

I think this has been explained at one point or another, but I wonder why they never bothered to make an intercooled version for us. Personaly, I think it has a lot less to do with any amount of room in the valley than it does for the fact that they would have had to make the intercooler and intake themselves. I would be interested in finding out how many units they would have to sell for it to be profitable enough for them to make one.
I know it's never going to happen, just thinking out loud.

I want the 2.1 version BAD. $3800 isn't a bad deal either. Comes with just about everything you need too.

"HEY BUDDY, YOUR HONDA SUCKS!!!"
Parts awaiting install... NOTHING!!! finally
Well I have spoken to james at Kb before and he basicially says that they KB for the sn95 cars was their first 4.6 cars. He says the reason for no bypass is due to room under the hood, and the reason for no intercooler is because it would take way to much time and money to go back and re engineer a kit for a 10 or so year old car. Now that sucks for us yes but they are a business so I can see their point. It would be cool if whipple could design one... and do it right from the beginning.
I made a little over 370 at 6 pounds with my recent 1.5KB install. I got it used for less than $2000 and it is easy enough to install yourself. If you want to drag race then the centrifugal is the better choice as the peak power is higher.
If you want low rpm torque and hp a KB is the way to go ( light to light street racing ect.) If your lookin' for 1/4 mile times centri is what you want. Root style blowers make good hp but heat kills them. There is really no way around that other than methanol injection, and that doesn't help that much.

I think my intercooler would work. I just kind of strayed away because I have to get a built motor before a blower so I might as well get a centri and make big numbers. If there was enough demand for the intercooler I would test it on my car and make more, but I haven't seen much real interest, because no one actually has one. Just people saying it would be great. I don't know. Maybe I will still kb it to get the kit working, then do a centri later for some really big numbers. The 2.1 is what I would want though and it's just so expensive. I could get a brand new t-trim for that price...
