You can buy replacement rubber pedal pads to replace your worn out factory ones for just a few bucks. Check latemodelresto.com - its where I got mine.

He's correct. Many vendors sell the 03/04 pedal covers. For example, they're $70 at American Muscle.

Ford Racing Bullitt Pedals (Manual) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

You just slip yours off, and install the new ones. They can give you some fuss getting them on, but all in all it is really quite easy.

A tip for installation... many people like to boil the clutch and brake pedals. It loosens up the rubber and makes it easier to slip them on.

i just cut little slices in the corners to give me a little more wiggle room and put them on that way.

I used 2 thin flat head screw drivers to pry them in. Worked great.

+1 I dried mine quick and sprayed them with silicone and they popped on with the help of a flat screw driver.

My buddies 03's peddles are closer together than mine, making heel/toe a lot easier. Would be interesting if swapping would result in the same arrangement.

i boiled mine and sprayed the actual pedal with some soapy water. it's not going to be easy but you'll get it eventually.

Someone also mentioned in a thread like this one a while back that saleen pedals are a bit wider, making heel/toe or whatever you want to call it a whole lot easier. I like to kindo of roll my right foot, but the pedals are too far apart to do it safely. I always feel like the left part of my shoe will slip off the brake pedal.
