That is exactly what I have in my car (except I got mine from mmr), so that piece will work just fine for your car. I run push lock fuel line on my car, but you can run the braided line as well. The big line is the feed and the little one is the return (obviously lol...). Get a fitting to go onto each tube and connect the fuel line to the fitting, then run the lines up to the engine bay and to the fuel rails. That simple. You will need to run an inline pump/filter when you run a pickup like the one you posted from glenn's (again, obviously lol..)

As for an inline pump, I run a single Walbro 255 inline pump with an inline 10 micron filter. I will be adding another 255 inline pump (running parallel, never inline with each other, as in out of one pump and right into the next pump)a s soon as I install my Vortech. I cut the wire that goes right into the top of the factory "hat". I left a few inches of wire in case I ever need to reattach it someday. But yes, just use the factory wires that go to the factory pump and hook it up to your new inline pump.

As far as the two links you posted, I think those are the fittings that hook to your factory fuel rails, but I'm not exactly sure. I bought UPR aftermarket fuel rails for my car, so I have done away with all the factory parts. Again, I run push lock fuel line. They make a -10 to -8 reducer fitting, and then you put a -8 barb fitting on the -8 reducer fitting. Hook up the push lock line up to the barb end and run it up into the engine bay right along the factory fuel lines. You will need to hook up the line to one of those fittings that you posted, I'm sure there is a fitting to do so, but I would have to look around a bit to find it.

On my car, once the -8 line comes into the engine bay in the back left corner, I have a barb fitting hooking the line to a "Y" block. Out of the Y block and one line into the back of each fuel rail. Out of the front of each fuel rail a line goes into each side of an Aeromotive adjustible fuel pressure regulator. Out of the bottom of the regulator is the -6 return line that I have running all the way back, right along side the -8 feed line and it hooks into the return port on the "hat" that goes into the top of the tank.

Hopefully at least some of this makes sense to you.

I am using one that is just like the one you had posted at the begining of this thread from glenn's performance, except I purchased mine from mmr.

Mine has the -10 feed and the -6 return. I just reduced the -10 feed down to a -8 feed line. So I have -8 all the way from the tank up to the fuel rails, and a -6 return line from the adjustible fuel pressure regulator all the way back to the tank.

It's not a cheap way to do things, but I wanted to do it right and do it the first time. And now with the fuel hat from mmr that goes into the top of my tank, the -8 feed and -6 return, the UPR fuel rails, and the Aeromotive fpr my car will NEVER need any additional parts for the fuel system (except for the addition of one more inline fuel pump once I surpass the limit of my one Walbro 255 that is in my car now)

if your going to go with an inline pump set up why not look to do a sumped tank or even one of the glenns performance sleeper tanks?

im sumping my stock tank, i bought a sump set up from here
holcombmotorsports.com

the sump comes with directions on what to cut and what to weld and after looking at the inside of my buddies tank he got from mmr, my set up will be identical just with out me paying out the ass.

Right now I'm planning on going with the pickup tube from Glenn's Performance for my build. It supports the power and you could still run the tank to empty if you had to.

My only gripe concerning sumps, while they look neat and all, to me they just scream "please come and mess with my car", particularly if you have one of the more eye catching pumps such as a bright red Aeromotive pump. Thats the same reason I'm planning on using dual Walbro 255's tucked up and out of sight.

I think I'd run that Glenn's sump with two external Walbro 255's run in parallel.

I agree with you to an extent. A sumped/sleeper tank would definately be nice to have, but if there is another way to safely achieve your goals, but at a far less out of pocket expense, this just might be the route for some.

Now I'm speaking strictly for myself, but I bought my fuel hat/pick up tube from mmr a few years ago, and it was $100 shipped to me. With twin inline Walbro 255's I will have more than enough to support the 600-650rwhp I am expecting from my Vortech upgrade. Now the $100 that I spent is far less than the price of buying a sumped/sleeper tank, and at least in my application, just as effective.

So if you have the extra cash to spend during your build up, and want to have the slight "attitude" advantage a sumped tank gives a street car (there is probably other advantages as well, I'm not too sure lol...), then by all means rock one out.

i mainly chose to go with the sumped set up because i know that down the road when i go to make more power the fuel system will support it. and it sure does look good haha.

Another option since you guys are talking about getting aftermarket tanks:

'03 Cobra tank
Fore return style hat w/dual Walbro 255's

Definitely easier and probably safer than running external pumps. The Fore hat comes with fittings for -8 feed and -6 return. This is what I've been using to make 570whp and haven't had a single problem.

The Fore hat alone is $440 though.

And a 03/04 Cobra tank from Ford Racing is like $600...

By the time you throw in a regulator, lines, pumps and fittings you're at least over $1500...

Well, nobody said an aftermarket setup was cheap. Those Glenn's tank setups aren't exactly frugal either. Luckily I got a great deal from a friend on the hat and pumps, plus I already had the 03 tank and kirban regulator on my car.
