Man. I must have gotten my order in just in the nick of time. Ordered on the 31st and received everything today. This kit looks awesome, packaging was great. I can wait to get my truck running again so I can stop driving the stang and get this stuff installed. This could be the best $980 I've spent on the car. Yeah, I pretty much ordered everything for the rear including the deluxe bumpsteer kit. thanks for such great products Bruce.

Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome control arm kit. I pulled the subframe out dragged it to work and got it (as well as all the other bushings) done in a few hours.
You make an awesome product, shipping was fast, I couldn't have asked for more... well maybe the subframe bushings (had gotten the mm poly's a while back, but oh well)
with your rear diff support do you recommend a rear cover brace? If so, which one will fit with your kit?
For anyone that drag races, drives aggressively on the street or has a lot of RWHP we HIGHLY recommend a rear cover brace. Billet Flow makes one of the best.
Yes, our standard Delrin rear diff support, FT 1300 will work with ALL cover braces and after market covers as well.
Our soon to be released Delrin isolated rear lowering diff mount only works with the OEM cover.
Hope that helps.

Unhappy with your IRS?
Got Wheel Hop, a leaking rear cover or a broken halfshaft?
Getting passed on the track by Corvettes? FIX IT!!
I have the dreaded clunk in the rear you think its just the front diff mounts? Its just a clunk when letting clutch out to fast and down shifting. If you think its the front mounts is it hard to change them with the rear in the car and how long will it take me?

Worn out differential mounting bushings are very common. Replacing the fronts only is relatively easy but not recommended. If you stabilize the front and not the rear you run the risk of snapping off one of the front mounting ears.
The rear mount is more difficult to replace because you have to remove the differential from the subframe to remove the rear mounting bracket.
We are expecting parts to be arriving this week. We still have a bunch of orders from the tail end of our Holiday Sale that we are trying to satisfy. All orders should be shipped this week and we should have our stock back to normal.
I should be ordering in the next few months. I was wondering if you have any experience with LPW diffential caps? Should I buy this cap or diff brace on my factory one?

That is sort of a tough call. Many people have been served very well by the rear cover braces. The LPW cover is a very nice piece and much stronger as well. But it also costs more money. So it's sort of a toss-up.
I have the LPW cover.. i had to grind down one of the ribs on the outside to clear the rear mount but it wasnt more then 1/4 inch of material in one spot.
Very happy with all of it
I have pics if need be.

It's been a real busy last several months here due to our most successful Holiday Sale and the increased interest we've had with our product line. We've got some good news from the Full Tilt Boogie Racing shop that I think you all will be interested in.
We've come to the realization that adjusting our old design front diff mounting bushings was a tedious and time consuming process. So we went back to the drawing board to improve the design and this is what we've come up with. A set of front diff supports that are actually self aligning. There is no longer a need to orientate the tapered bushings and tapered washers to match your mounting surfaces. Simply bolt them in place and they pretty much self center themselves!
Here are some photos of the new bushing design:
This is how they self adjust to the mounting surfaces of the subframe and the front torque brace from angled to completely flat:
Here is the front diff set mounted in the car:
And a close-up of them mounted in the car:
Because these parts are so much easier to work with and we've always been a very customer oriented company, we are going to offer a trade-in exchange for all of our previous customers that have purchased these.
For the guys that have NOT installed their kit yet, go into your kit and remove all of the parts in the front diff mount set with the exception of the 12 shimming washers. You keep them. Send us the two thick and two thin angled bushings and four angled washers. Once we receive your returned parts and verify you purchased the parts from us, we will ship you the new bushings and seats along with some new front diff mount installation instructions AT NO CHARGE!!!
For the guys that have already installed these parts in their cars you probably discovered this alignment process was a little more work than it should have been. You're probably not looking forward to having to do it again if you ever have to take your car apart. We're going to do something for you as well. If you'd like to buy the new parts, we are going to have a special price for you guys to purchase only the eight subject parts discussed above. Once we know our cost of these, which should be in the next few days, we will have a 'replacement' program put in place for you and we will post it here. It will be at a nominal cost. You'd have to buy these parts from us and when you get the opportunity to change them out, return the four tapered bushings and tapered washers to us and we will refund your purchase price for the parts.
There's more good news as well. This new design of the front diff mount set costs considerably less to manufacture compared to the previous design. So the price of the front diff mounts is going to be reduced. One other item of interest is the fact that we have substantially increased production quantities on all of our IRS parts and we are going to pass along that production cost savings onto our customers in the form of a price reduction. Almost everything in our IRS kit with the exception of our deluxe bumpsteer kit, cross-axis joint and our new items will most likely see a price reduction. Brake kits will not be affected.
If anyone has any questions I'd be glad to answer them.
Bruce, once again you show the world what a class act you are. Improving the design and helping old customers get the upgrade with little to no cost. You are awesome !
For you guys returning front diff mounts that have not been installed yet, send your parts to:
Full Tilt Boogie Racing
1817 Dolphin Drive
Waukesha, WI 53186
Attn: Front diff mount exchange program
Be sure to include your name, shipping address and approximate date of purchase or better yet, a copy of your FTBR invoice or packing list.
When returning your kit send us the two thick and two thin angled bushings and four angled washers. Keep the 12 shimming washers. No need to return them. Once we receive your returned parts and verify you purchased the parts from us, we will ship you the new bushings and seats along with some new front diff mount installation instructions AT NO CHARGE!!!
I will have info and pricing up for you guys that have already installed your parts to purchase the exchange parts program in the very near future.

Reason: added additional information
For you guys that have already installed your kit in the car and would like a set of bushings that don't require the tedious orientation, contact us and we will take care of you as well.
You can purchase just the eight required parts, four new bushings and four matching washers (you won't receive any shimming washers) for $40.00 + $5.00 freight. Keep them until you go back into your differential again.
Once you remove and return the eight angled parts (four bushings and four washers) you will receive a $40 refund.
Just got the self centering (aligning) bushings.
It just came in today
Thanks Bruce. Another great product.
Ever considered taking over the "never to be produced" Bulletproof Strange IRS Axle Modification?
I never hear about those damn Corvette guys busting halfshafts. But my 03 Cobra would look really funny with a Vette ass grafted onto it.
Glad the replacements showed up and you like them!
We have no interest in getting into making halfshafts. I'm more interested in educating people about two things. #1 is, the Ford halfshafts are not as bad as people think and #2 is, L-5's don't solve NEARLY as many problems as people think. Power is NOT what breaks halfshafts. Rubber in the IRS and running the wrong tires are what breaks halfshafts!
