Need to add some numbers on the bottom end of your range for us hard driving guys!! I drive mostly in town and get to about 140 miles when the empty light comes on and I refuel with 13 to 14 gallons. I have fun driving, though.

I use 93 octane and I get about 200-210 and I try to fill up at the 1/4 tank line. I drive 60 miles round trip a day to work and 95% of that is highway. I average 17-19 MPG.
I hope we don't get the gatuitous lecture on how to properly calculate milage...who cares...this is just for reference.
I drive the same route daily...approximately the same traffic. 190-200 miles/tank consistently...I've gotten 230 only once and it was during a week when I was very mellow.
you were not the target of my comment...there have been similar threads to this in the past and invariably someone will presume that we are too stupid to know the correct way to calculate milage....and then they post a long reply to point out the error of our ways. I'm just hoping to skip that for once.
WOW!! I wish I could get over 200. I try so hard sometimes, and am easy on the gas for a while, I shift under 2k rpms. But then, I get the urge to get on it, and all my good slow driving gets wasted.
well, if i drive with a really light foot (shifting at 2000 rpm) for the entire tank, and i drive until the light is on constantly, i can get to about 230 to 240.
I get about 225-230 miles until about 1/4 tank or just under 1/4. 91 octane Union 76 or Chevron. This is in stop and go california traffic ~44 miles per day.

You guys are joking right. I get anywhere form 225 to 300 on pump gas and thats havin fun with the ol girl. Look for a better tune, using less fuel. I have 55 lb injectors and still get that gas mileage. I love my superchip, I compared it to a diablo on a trip once from FT Wayne to BG,KY and it made a huge difference in gas used. just my .02 cents.

once, i actually made it to 245 miles.
Same here. without playing in town, I can get about 270.
On the highway though its a whole different story. Keeping the cruise set at about 75 MPH I have gotten 306 before the light came on. this is always with 93 octane.
Some of y'all are getting some pretty shitty gas milage. Ya might want to check on it.

I think the primary difference is if you drive on the highway vs. a car that rarely ever sees the highway... Highway mileage will always be better than town mileage. Ours rarely ever sees the highway... but we still manage 180 miles per tank.
Originally posted by Tambini 306 miles to the tank?? you must be feathering it the whole way. your driving a cobra, punch it now and then!!
I do punch it now and then. Its very hard to do just 75. But even with bursts up to 140-160 on my road trips and setting the cruise at 80 i still get about 280-290 per tank on the highway When I do get a little crazy in the streets I can still get about 250+
