Window sticker???

Does anyone know how I can get a copy of a window sticker??

If you want a PDF of your sticker, head on over to blueovalnews.com
go to the employee section of the forum and post a note for the sticker. there may already be a thread. the person that works at Ford that does this is named VIPERPILOT.
I got mine as well as the factory dates too (ie, serialization, manufactured date,ship date, sold date etc.)

I called the dealership where my car was originally sold and they told me that they only keep them on file for five years. Since my car's build date is 2/03, it was not available anymore. Can anyone attest to the truth of this or is the dealership just being lazy and not wanting to run it down for me? I'd really like to have a copy of the original sticker.

Ford no longer provides them but there is a guy here who can make you a replica that is virtually identical to the original.

I think ViperPilot stopped offering this service. The system he uses achieves data after three years. It was mainly used for new builds that are in the system or in transit.

Thanks Bob. The Dealer Connect System most Ford Salesman have access to is pretty interesting. They can track existing vehicles (by VIN or option code) that are in the system. They can produce, in pdf form, new Window Stickers for any new VIN, even vehicles located at other Ford Dealerships.

jbrown does a great job with the window stickers. I have my original and his duplicate and you can hardly tell the difference.

a while back someone had contact info to the head of inventory at ford or something similar. I contacted him and he got me a new window sticker for my car printed just like the dealerships do and mailed it to me 100% free of charge

I think he is retired now though.. and your local ford dealer will just say they cant do it when they really can

I do believe that they can only do it though on cars 8 years or newer~

Jbrown , you truly have a world of knoledge when it comes to documentation.
you really need to start a thread and discribe all the info on the 03 /04 that is associated with the build sheets and window sticker's. it's a pleasure reading your threads on this subject

I kept all the original stickers etc for my car.. (have them in an envelope in a cupboard at home) the only thing I never received was the SVT Certificate.. (called the 800# and got the build #, which is what I really wanted)
