18x11 Chromes w/M&H 345's mounted (pics)

Okay.....for those following the previous thread....here is the first pass at the photos.

My H&R Spacers came in today.....so I got the tires/wheels on the car.....but it is was dark....so no outside pics.....I will take those this weekend if the weather holds.

The spacers I used to make each side look the same were 40mm on the driver side and a 30mm on the passenger side......they are identical in spacing.

For a 345/35/18.....I'd say they run narrow compared to MT's345 or BFG's 345.....however for an 11" wheel.....I think they are spot on perfect with regards to size.....no bulge....no angling inward from wheel to tread....they are pretty straight up and down from wheel to tread. The tread on these is 12.4 and the wheel OD was 12.2. I would say these 345's are about the same width as the Hoosier 335's I had a couple years ago. As for 28" tires.....it really helps the appearance having 18" wheels to balance the height and sidewalls.

I will take some side shots and some outdoor pics as well.....later this week or next.

Does anyone think they stick out too far?......I have room to bring both of them in...1/4".....I would just need to mill the spacer down on the back side.

Offset?

The Wheels are Detroit Replicas 18x9's in the front....I ordered them from JEGS for $189 each...I have no idea of the off-set. There are no spacers in the front. I know in the back when they widened them 2".....they widened them 100% on the inside.....that is why I had to use the thick spacers.

Yes....that is my garage for my Cobra....here is a pic.

When they shipped the tires they folded them to reduce the size......so the day we mounted them we put max PSI in to help with the flat spots......so they are at 32PSI in the photos......I have not driven on them yet......when I do.....I will lower them to 24 - 26.

Garage

It is a 30 x 40 Meuller Metal Building. I framed a room inside the building to isolate my Cobra from everything....bicycles, balls, dust, etc....then threw up some sheetrock, put in a drop tile ceiling, added a lift, painted the floor.

How much are those tires? They would be great for my 18x11 CCWs when my BFGs go bald.

Garage

Thanks for all the compliments on the garage.....like most things it was a lot of work.....but with work comes rewards.

As for pics.....it is pouring rain in Houston and will be for a while.

I will post more pics next week.

Ya'll are anxious for pics......I just want to drive her and try out the new rubber and feel of the 18's and a lower profile tire. Do you think I will notice a difference? I already added the MM steering shaft.....that was a HUGE improvement.

For your 18x11 CCW's I think they are a PERFECT Fit. As for pricing.....I don't remember.....just check out their Web Site at MH Racemaster, MandHtires.com, Drag Slick, Drag Radial, Cheater Slick, DOT.

I think they were $349 each....but I'm not for sure.

Two Questions:

Does anyone have pics of their fenders rolled....I have never seen that done?

What does FTW stand for?
