Steve, I have never received a PM or read a response as far as a time line on the hood vents. Do you have an ETA? I see you are delivering wheels and starting other group buys, just curious where our GB is in line.

these havent been made yet because i havent had enough people get on board yet. luckily, they only take a week to knock out.
i just tidied up the 03 cobra ice tank GB and am now working on this. my apologies to those who have been waiting and PMing me.

Steve's a good guy...he's just veryyy busy and has a LOT of sites to deal with as well as a whole business to run...that is actually the real steve who posts on this site. Cut him a litttttle slack. He makes amazing products and is always great to deal with

It's very frustrating to say you're interested in something (which I've done), then, wait weeks or perhaps longer (or never in my case) to hear back..... just doesn't sound like great business practice to me especially after posting a solicitation. But hey, what the hell do I know?

Tried the pm method too still crickets bit it's only been a few weeks
I don't think he has ever responded to any of my PM's in over 2 months, but a friend has assured me that I will receive the product that I paid for. I understand that Steve is very busy, but at least take 1 day out and respond to all those that showed interest-it's just good business to do so. I also understand that he makes WAY more money on a set of wheels than a hood vent group buy, so of course he is going to make the wheels instead. I'll give him awhile more...........
Busy or not, this is F-ing rediculous!!! I paid for these in early Oct. Asked for status every 1-2 weeks - no replies to multiple emails and calls - ever. Then in Dec. I get an email saying I miscalculated and now he needs $100 more for my "pending" order. I emailed multiple times that I could not afford the increase, asking for a refund - no reply. I asked to at least change my order to what I could afford (hood vents only, instead of hood & side vents) - STILL no reply. Even tried to get PayPal to refund the order since nothing was received- too late, it's been more than 30 days since I paid... Crap- will this ever end?!! I realize $200 isn't much, but it's still enough to pay for parts I can actually put on my car.
I am a technical suport manager for a best-in-class software company and if we treated our customers this way - we'd have ZERO customers! Bad word of mouth travels very fast...
It has now been 4 months since ordering, with no end in site. I hate this, but looks like legal action may be only recourse left.

ok, ive been trying to respond to the numerous PMs ive been receiving. some get buried and some bounce back. you can always email me for faster results or just call in.
as i posted in the original post, the GB will remain open till we reach at least 15 people. we dont even have half that amount yet.
here's what i will do..
as i stated earlier, everyone that has paid so far will get $10 back. AND, to get more people on board with this GB, i will give every person who joins this GB an extra set of brushed mesh screens for free! everyone who has paid already (in addition to the $10) and everyone who has yet to join. *no, you cant get another $10 off the price instead. its a freebie, take it or leave it.

As I've posted a few times, I'm still interested in the black chrome vents that you said you had one or two ready to go. No matter what I seem to do, however, I just can't seem to get a response from you and I'm not sure if I've pissed you off or you're just so busy you're not sure if you're coming or going (I suspect the latter since we've never done business and you don't know me). I'm still interested in the black chrome if you have them ready to ship right now as you've indicated on various threads. I'm not interested in joining the GB mainly because of the lack of communication.
