If you look at the total look of my car it would look empty without the SS inserts. It's completely blacked out including the headlights but there are chrome accents in all the right places. The front snake, fender snakes, chrome 18" wheels, SVT logo the SS inserts, Afco HE with black "SVT" stencil, and the exhaust has had some polishing done. All of these things make the car flow together. To me it wouldn't look right without the inserts.
Not to highjack, but where did you get those headlights? AM?

if you have chrome/polished wheels, then of course you need chrome/polished inserts.

how ever you choose... I have some info to help you with that decision.
Most dont think about this but the inserts once put on stick out, are raised up off the bumper by just a little bit and you can see this by looking down on the bumper. Just FYI there.
Also if you do buy them BEFORE you install them sand the edges as they have little burrs on them and once installed you really cant smooth it out. This keeps rags from snagging on the edges of them and such, makes it easier to clean.
Once you stick them they DO NOT come off with out tearing up the letter or messing up the paint (due to prying). If you do get one messed up the best way is to some how attach something to the edge of the letter tight enough so you can pull it up and get it started in coming off. A tach weld sounds good here (or jb weld). A replacment letter cost me 25 bucks .
To install them I used a line of tape for each letter, lined them up 100% perfect (raised and eased down the letter over and over to get it just right) then raised the letter up pealed off the backing and eased it down. The tap holding the top of the letter helped keep me in line and they just eased down. Thats how I did it, ... and the R got messed up by my own mistake (pushed it down off center... not the tapes fault.)
The vert I bought has them and looks good. Originally when I bought it I planned on removing them. I do not like flashy stuff like that but it has really grown on me.
