Question potential new owner...

copied from the lightning forums...

hey everyone i will be graduating with my MBA in may and am just now starting to looking into a new gift for myself for my accomplishment. i plan to move to dallas/ft worth area in may or june. i currenty drive a modified civic that would probably get stolen in a heart beat if i was to take it to dfw area. so i was thinking a cobra but then thought that there has been many times that i needed a truck so am now thinking about a lightning.

i have a few questions...

this is mainly for those who live in texas and in the dfw area:

is there a high rate of stolen lightnings that occur in the area? ive been into imports since i could drive and know how it is in regards to the honda world in that area but im not sure how it is with domestics.

and now for the general public:

is there anything that i should look for when buying a lightning? problems wise and so forth? im looking for a completely stock 03-04 with about <30k miles on it. i know with the 03 cobras there was the tick with the motor.

I wouldn't see why Lightnings would be stolen more than any other car in DFW.

Although I CAN tell you from working at Pop-A-Lock that F-150's are about the EASIEST cars to break into in the world. Right next to Tahoe's.
