That is pretty awesome for a sixxer. Ford made a quality package with their ecoboost technology.

If the other truck got an equal R/T he probably would have been at his door (the front one lol).

Throw a CAI and a tune on that 6.2 and it's game over.

Both are impressive engines and just about equal in performance. I agree that adding an intake and tune on either would be game over. Seeing the two engines being pretty equal in that video, give me the Ecoboost for the gas mileage edge.
    6.2L ------ 13mpg city, 18mgp highway, 14mpg combined
    Ecoboost - 16mpg city, 22mpg highway, 18mpg combined

My money is on the Ecoboost after both receive an intake and tune...by a long margin!

I'm thinking if the Ecoboost was spooled up it may have won.
I would take the Ecoboost for MPG.

    ecoboost

My brother has an ecoboost with a Bully dog tuner ( tuner only) it added 40 hp and 55 ft lbs, 87 octane tune, it's a ton of fun. It's a super nice truck, v good milage and quick.

pulling trailers loaded they do about the same 12-13 mpg. The two engines numbers are really close. 365hp 420tq for the eco and 411hp 434tq. what the eco lacks in hp, it makes it up by making [email protected] both excellent choices in my book
