Braided line routing from hat on 2011+

For you guys who have installed braided feed and return lines on 2011+ models, did you run the braided lines down the driver's side of the tank from the fuel hat or is there a more "forgiving" location you used?

Did you drop the tank to run the lines or just snake them down through?

Did you leave the existing hard line in place or removed it?

I did a set on a customer car and just followed the stock line. Left the line in tact, ran it up the drivers side and dont believe I ever dropped the tank.

I took out the old line and ran the feed line in its place, then ran the return line next to the brake lines. Up the firewall in the wheel well and through the opening under the brake booster.

Put the fitting on then shoved it up from the bottom and grabbed it from the top and pulled it over to the fitting.
