Thor is a god and not a hero that has god like powers or powers that surpase that of a god. Superman could probably wipe the floor with Thor, who is a god. This is why I hate Superman and the entire concept of Superman. However, Goku earned his god like status through a ridiculous amount of hard work and tragedy. Goku is also not invulnerable and has had the shit kicked out of him on several occasions.

BTW I'm not a big fan of Thor either, or the Silver Surfer.
