I only partially agree with that statement. You can teach your kids whatever you want for their whole lives, but as soon as they walk out the door they start thinking for themselves. The only problem I have is where he actually pointed the gun at them and kept them- if he was holding them there til the police came that was one thing- but that's not what he did. The threatening to shoot and or beat someone who is in MY house without MY permission- well that's known as "Game On." As far as I'm concerned those kids put THEMSELVES into that position. They should be made to pay DEARLY for their transgressions.
Besides- you don't go to someone else's house to screw the underage daughter and NOT expect SEVERE consequences if you get caught. I'm not saying what the dad did was correct- but I completely understand.
If I'm correct, under 18 in a photo/video of someone in a sexual act is considered child pornography. Let 'em #### all day at 16 or 17 (as long as they're all of legal age), just don't capture it on photo/video.
And I'm pretty sure they had permission to be there, as they were probably, and by probably I mean 100%, invited in by the daughter who lived there.
