Differential not lining up

Doing a ford racing diff cover install and bushings. I did not do the aluminum diff bushings front or rear. I replaced the stock rear bushing with a new maximum motorsports bushing. They say the cover does not need to be milled to fit with stock bushings.

Attempting to to line up the two rear bolts and I can only get the bottom one in. The top one will not line up at all. I have tried nearly everything to get it to line up with no avail.

Anyone ne ever have a problem lining it up?

Ensure that the rear diff mount has the closed end down. If you flip the mount, then only the bottom bolt can be installed.

I recommend that you test fit the rear mount to the diff cover outside of the car. Sometimes the bracket or the cover needs to be clearanced.

The dif is where it should be. The bottom bolt goes in fine, then the top bolt just doesn't line up no matter what I do.

Remove the diff and the diff mount, then test fit outside of the car.
