Does anyone know the real difference between the SCT Big Air MAF BA-2800 and the BA-3000? I cant seem to find any difference.. the discription is the same on both on Leathperformance.

The resolution they can go down to or up to. You want as small as possible and still read. My old setup was 650rwhp and the SCT2800 was too much so I switched to the 2400 and got a clean tune. Now I run a GT500 MAF.
Ok i just purchased a BA-3000 I am looking at running a little over 500RWHP should I be alright? I"m running a Accufab SBTB and Ported Eaton and Ported Accufab plentum.
That is more MAF capability then you need for your application. A good tuner will be able to get it right, but the tune will be generally less refined. A 2400 would have been better suited to your combination, but at least you will be ready MAF-wise for a much bigger blower when the time comes.

I am running 622 rwhp and using BA2600 and nothing wrong with it! I am probably use for my TT setup as well

So how far up is the 2400 good for? I'm switching to the new JLT High boost that requires either the 2400 or the 3000, so I'm very interested to hear about this. On the RAI I made 628 rwhp, and the last car that he (JLT) did a comparison on went up around 15 whp when he switched from the RAI to the High Boost.
I guess my question would be would the 2400 be good up to around 700 rwhp because that is as high as I think I'm ever going to go. Thanks for the advice in advance.
HP levels for SCT MAF with roots style blowers are roughly as follows (from the sites that sell them):
BA 2400 = 400-650 RWHP
BA 2800 = 400-750 RWHP
BA 3000 = 400-825 RWHP
To the OP- I believe SCT dropped the 2400 and 2800 and replaced them with 2600 and 3000, so 2800 = 3000

IF YOU HAVE A GOOD TUNER you may be alright. For other people with your setup I would recommend a 2600.

I'm good yeah i'm local i live in Warren, car is at lidio's shop right now and I just got word that i'm pushing 18-19 lbs of boost out of my ported Eaton. I'm kinda concerned and been asking around what the best solution is or if I should just let it ride. I plan on going with a Whipple next winter. Anyway where are you from man.. I might know you.

A 3000 would be good for you, and will leave open future options. The OP was about 500 RWHP, and the 3000 is overkill for that level. You could be at the upper range of the 3000 if you decide to play with N2O later.
No nitrous on this motor. Maybe E 85 but that it.if I got to do this again. It will kill me.
