I have been lurking around the forums for a few months now
I recently switched over from a 500whp Subaru to my 99 Cobra.
Mods are:
Fully Forged Bottom end by Deans Performance
ARP Head Studs
Ported and Polished heads (Im pretty sure it has blower cams has a small lope to it and previous owner built it for boost)
Ford Racing High volume oil pump
Spec Stage 3 Clutch
Bassani O/R X Pipe
Bassani Catback 2.5
K&N Drop in Filter (wanting to ditch asap getting a loud harmonic noise from it)
MGW Short Shifter
Koni SA's
Eibach ProKit No ISO's (UPR Front Coilover ordered with 350lb Springs)
Mach 1 Chin Spoiler
Black Housing Headlights
2003 Cobra Trunk and Wing
Fast Forward Race Cars Full Road Race Cage
Cobra Sebring Seat
Cobreau Harnesses
03 Cobra Style Shift Knob
Gutted Interior from front seats back
Authentic Cobra R Wheels
Cobra R Brembo's
25mm Spacer in rear
Summito HRZ 275/35/18
Im Sure I am missing something. I am looking forward to learning the new platform and saving up for an Eaton Swap.

Welcome~ If the motor is the one it was born with (Block, timing cover, etc..) a bolt on Centri blower would be an easier undertaking than an Eaton swap.

KB offered a kit for the 99's. It originally was a 1.7L unit, but I think it got up graded to a 2.1.
The kit may have a lot of un needed parts for your engine, as it was a complete package for the stock block.
I still have mine, with just over 30K miles.

They don't offer that kit anymore. Since Ford stopped producing parts for the 03/04 they can't make the kit. So his choices are to find a used kit, do an eaton swap, go with a centri or turbo. I'm partial to centris.

Car looks good. Looks like a good base. I'd get rid of the tires before getting serious with power.

Nice looking car, I'm looking for that stance so I might just be ordering the same suspension setup.

Nice. Looks like my Performance Red '01...but deeper red, of course. The 2K Cobra R wheels we rock...are quintissential New Edge. Best looking wheels IMHO. Nice mods, too. Enjoy, man.
