Ford Racing had some of their new stock cars on display.
It might seem dumb, but I really like little machined parts like this.
Wouldn't be a good show without some protesters.
The NAIAS is held in Detroit's Cobo Center.
The Focus ST. There's a good chance that we may be adding one of these to the SVTP project car fleet.
I really like this car.
I'd take it in this color too.
We've been cruising around in an ST for the better part of a week and I'm really surprised how good the stock exhaust sounds.
I expect the Fiesta ST to be a really fun car.
With a 1.6L EcoBoost it should be a peppy little car.
Many of it styling cues come from its big brother, the Focus ST.
The new Transit Connect is a nice looking little van.
This guy was patiently waiting for his turn to sit in this 2013 GT500.
Ford had a lot of engines on display, including this 1.0L I-3 EcoBoost.
The 3-banger may have the smallest turbo in history.
Expect to see this little engine in many future compact Fords around the world.
The NASCAR Fusion looks like an actual car, which is a good thing.
It's all business in the cockpit.
There were Foci and Fiestas everywhere.

I can't believe this thing isn't my DD.
I think they're just showing off at this point.
The Raptor's 6.2L V8 is a massive engine.
The 6R80 is so much better than the old 4R75 F-150 tranny that it's ridiculous.
One of the advantages of buying a crew-cab Raptor is that you get a 35 gallon fuel tank vs the 26 gallon one in the extended cab truck.
Fuel hat.
Armored up.
The rear axle of the Raptor is actually wider than the standard F-150's.
Nice aluminum driveshaft.
4.10 gears within.
The new HID headlights really makes the Raptor front end look even more aggressive.
I want to meet the people who make all these cutaway vehicles for Ford.

The F-150's coilover front suspension makes the truck handle great.
Fully boxed frame Mike.
Never has a little V6 made such a huge impact on the full-size truck market.
Big brakes for stopping big loads.
Believe it or not I had my Lightning nearly torn down to this point at one time.
F-150 has the best safety rating in its class.
Ford Explorer police cruiser.
Stickered up.

I tried to use this thing to get on SVTP but it wouldn't power up.
You don't want to find yourself on this side of that partition.
This makes me think Ford should offer a brushed stainless steel edition of the F-150. It would probably be a huge hit in The Rust Belt.
