Ford Racing had some of their new stock cars on display.

It might seem dumb, but I really like little machined parts like this.

2013_NAIAS_1_052.jpg

Wouldn't be a good show without some protesters.

2013_NAIAS_1_053.jpg

The NAIAS is held in Detroit's Cobo Center.

2013_NAIAS_1_054.jpg

The Focus ST. There's a good chance that we may be adding one of these to the SVTP project car fleet.

2013_NAIAS_1_055.jpg

I really like this car.

2013_NAIAS_1_056.jpg

I'd take it in this color too.

2013_NAIAS_1_057.jpg

We've been cruising around in an ST for the better part of a week and I'm really surprised how good the stock exhaust sounds.

2013_NAIAS_1_058.jpg

I expect the Fiesta ST to be a really fun car.

2013_NAIAS_1_059.jpg

With a 1.6L EcoBoost it should be a peppy little car.

2013_NAIAS_1_060.jpg

Many of it styling cues come from its big brother, the Focus ST.

2013_NAIAS_1_061.jpg

The new Transit Connect is a nice looking little van.

2013_NAIAS_1_062.jpg

This guy was patiently waiting for his turn to sit in this 2013 GT500.

2013_NAIAS_1_063.jpg

Ford had a lot of engines on display, including this 1.0L I-3 EcoBoost.

2013_NAIAS_1_064.jpg

The 3-banger may have the smallest turbo in history.

2013_NAIAS_1_065.jpg

Expect to see this little engine in many future compact Fords around the world.

2013_NAIAS_1_066.jpg

The NASCAR Fusion looks like an actual car, which is a good thing.

2013_NAIAS_1_069.jpg

It's all business in the cockpit.

2013_NAIAS_1_070.jpg

There were Foci and Fiestas everywhere.

2013_NAIAS_1_071.jpg

Everywhere.

2013_NAIAS_1_072.jpg

EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!

2013_NAIAS_1_073.jpg

AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

2013_NAIAS_1_074.jpg

I can't believe this thing isn't my DD.

2013_NAIAS_1_075.jpg

I think they're just showing off at this point.

2013_NAIAS_1_076.jpg

The Raptor's 6.2L V8 is a massive engine.

2013_NAIAS_1_078.jpg

The 6R80 is so much better than the old 4R75 F-150 tranny that it's ridiculous.

2013_NAIAS_1_080.jpg

One of the advantages of buying a crew-cab Raptor is that you get a 35 gallon fuel tank vs the 26 gallon one in the extended cab truck.

2013_NAIAS_1_081.jpg

Fuel hat.

2013_NAIAS_1_082.jpg

Armored up.

2013_NAIAS_1_083.jpg

The rear axle of the Raptor is actually wider than the standard F-150's.

2013_NAIAS_1_084.jpg

Nice aluminum driveshaft.

2013_NAIAS_1_086.jpg

4.10 gears within.

2013_NAIAS_1_087.jpg

The new HID headlights really makes the Raptor front end look even more aggressive.

2013_NAIAS_1_088.jpg

I want to meet the people who make all these cutaway vehicles for Ford.

2013_NAIAS_1_089.jpg

Nice man purse bro.

2013_NAIAS_1_090.jpg

The F-150's coilover front suspension makes the truck handle great.

2013_NAIAS_1_091.jpg

Fully boxed frame Mike.

2013_NAIAS_1_092.jpg

Never has a little V6 made such a huge impact on the full-size truck market.

2013_NAIAS_1_093.jpg

Big brakes for stopping big loads.

2013_NAIAS_1_094.jpg

Believe it or not I had my Lightning nearly torn down to this point at one time.

2013_NAIAS_1_095.jpg

F-150 has the best safety rating in its class.

2013_NAIAS_1_096.jpg

Ford Explorer police cruiser.

2013_NAIAS_1_098.jpg

Stickered up.

2013_NAIAS_1_099.jpg

Inside the police Explorer.

2013_NAIAS_1_100.jpg

I tried to use this thing to get on SVTP but it wouldn't power up.

2013_NAIAS_1_101.jpg

You don't want to find yourself on this side of that partition.

2013_NAIAS_1_102.jpg

This makes me think Ford should offer a brushed stainless steel edition of the F-150. It would probably be a huge hit in The Rust Belt.

2013_NAIAS_1_103.jpg

F-550 fire truck, complete with an ATV.

Ford showing off some truck parts.

Come on third page!!!! I'd really like to see how the 3 banger Ecoboost does with mods/fuel economy and how that mercedes compound boost engine does.
