We will be installing our Roush 2.3L TVS kit next week on Rebecca Starkey's 2011 5.0 for a magazine article with Steve Turner at 5.0 Mustang and Superfords. We just have to finish up naturally aspirated engine/auto trans/cai tuning at a private track rental this Sunday before putting the kit on. The guys at Roush have spent a lot of time engineering this supercharger kit to be the best out there. It has a special belt system that uses the first shiv for crank snout durability, a new unique combination tensioner and idler that provides full movement and clearance for belt deflection. The system will utilize a new design 47lb injector for proper port targeting on the new 5.0L head, along with a lower intake and intercooler system that is so well designed the competition is buying it to use with their screw head unit. We took these on our tour of the Roush facilities last week. You've already seen the production units in a another thread so here are some really cool shots of the test car all outfitted with sensors and a pre-production head unit (production will be black).
