Metco lower? Did you do an innovators west ? Also when you let that other guy borrow your car I want you to take me for a spin too! That thing moves out for such a sleeper car. I bet you could make some serious money showing up to the track with stock seats, belts, and no cage and just work people. Congrats on all the hard work! That is the best looking cobra I have seen in years.

Whether your track is strict or not, it's just common sense to have on at a certain point. Don't be one of those fools who really gets hurt because he didn't want to put a cage in because things happen when you least expect it.

Yeah, I was using the stock damper. I was going to get one of the aftermarket cage supports when they came out, just didn't quite make it. I have made a good bit of money with it so far, I've also lost some stepping out of my leauge

It's just a mustang and the cage could save your life. Glad to hear you have one coming, though.

Hahaha thats awesome! If you have a vid throw it up, I bet that was a heck of a street race. I take if you are going to switch to a higher rear gear with the turbos now? Are you going to run any events with the car?

I have a vid but its bad quality. Plus it was ugly lol. Probably going to a 3.50 or 3.25 gear. Probably just do local events. Alot of guys put up small grudge days around here

Very sorry to hear bro. As I mentioned, I always loved seeing your track vids. Your car is just retarded fast.

And I'm honestly surprised your motor let go. Didn't even get to see what the 3.4L would do at 30lbs, though I'm sure 27lbs was plenty! Lol.

Your new combo will likely require you to run a parachute. But your track is similar to mine.. I don't think they will hassle you about it much.

Just watched the vid on page 1. Very impressive. What kind of wheels are those? Also, I like how it sits down over the tires on the front and rear.

Nice times
I have a solid with Moroso drag springs ( cut 2 coils so car would sit level) 50/50 non adjustable shocks with stock springs up front with 91/10 struts. Best 60 ft so far is 1.49 with a 26 x 10 x 15 ----6.50 @110 1/8 Would the 4 cyl springs work better than what i have. I had a set of GT springs and i was told the drag srpings would be better. I had the same 60 ft with both sets of springs. Also what spring would you suggest for the front.

I swapped from 4cyl springs to mach 1 springs which has a higher spring rate. I do have an arb though. I run a 14" 175# spring on mine coilovers. 4cyl springs work well up front with a stock style suspension

I'm a little late chiming in, but congrats on the times.

It shows the potential of what I can hopefully get out of mine with a better 60ft and rowing through the gears better (have not tried to powershift it at the track).

I'm wanting to swap from the 3.55s and 26" tall tires to 28's and 3.90s and also faceplate 1-4 in my t56. My best so far is the 9.93 @ 142 with a 1.43 60ft. I'm shooting for that 1.3x 60.

My track let me go for a few events, but finally cracked down on me, so I'll be adding some weight with a MM 6 point bar (I know it need a cage, not a bar). I'll probably be pulling the A/C, P/S, hydraboost, and some other misc crap to make up for the added weight.

Your 9.5 gives me more then just hope, but a solidly attainable number to hit

That's some nice mph and when you start power shifting it should go up some more. If you get the suspension right and do all the weight reduction that your are considering I think you'll be able to run some very low 9's. If I were you though, I would leave the 3.55 gear and swap to 28's before moving to the 3.90 gear. I have 3.90's in mine and I'm wanting to go back to 3.55's. The 3.90 works at the power level that I'm at, but in good DA when the car makes more power it will hit the rev limiter right at the 1/4. That and I plan on upping the boost, so I know they won't work then unless I move the limiter up and it's at 7200 now.

I believe I was crossing the traps at 6800 something in mine. I have 3.89's in mine with a 28" tire. My limiter is set at 7000 lol
