How many of you removed your AC?

How many of you guys deleted your AC?

Really focusing on custom made kits.

Why delete? I don't know of any kit that makes you delete your AC. What kit calls for that?

Mine is still intact but it hasn't been working since my rebuild... Hopefully it just needs a recharge I haven't cared enough to check.

+1. The wife doesn't like to sweat in the 100+ temp here in south Tx.

I think down the road if you wanted to sell the car, it would be harder to get rid of. I have ac and its not even close to being in the way.

Never unless it was strictly a race car.
Jeff
Edit:
Getting tired missed the Turbo part. Wish they were legal in California.

I agree with you 100%. I was just looking at a car and it would have had me sold but the A/C lines were cut.

There is no need to remove. I have built kits with anything from a pt70 to s480 and have always found ample room to fabricate around. In FL, ac is not an option, it's a must have, if you plan to drive the car in the summer.

Yeah I am keeping the ac for sure, that is not an option for me. Like the other guy said here in FL you must have it. I was just checking to see what the general public with turbo setup were doing.

Hell I use the AC all year round lol.

I'd never delete my A/C, I rarely use it but there are times when I definitely want it! And like has been said it definitely hurts resale if it's gone.
