well guys, last week i picked up my second terminator. As some of you may know, i sold my modded black 2003 cobra coupe on my birthday last year, with 24k miles.. .. .. Due to me needing a reliable daily to take me 3500 miles + a month, and i couldnt afford the cobra and a daily.. it was a sad day, and a hard move.
Well, a couple months ago my funds allowed me to be able to purchase another one, and i rushed into it, couldnt find the right one, ended up with a mach one, and if anybody kept up with my build thread, i turned it into a complete terminator clone, body & drivetrain.-- but i just wasnt happy with it, i wanted the real thing..
Last week, i was able to sell my mach 1, (keeping my 2004 cobra motor, trans, built 8.8, black insert seats, return fuel system, suspension etc... (see sig).. and sold the mach off as roller.
I then lucked out, and picked up a 2004 competition orange cobra, clean title 70k miles, built rear end, caged, sumped fuel tank, tubular k-member, coil overs, gauges... (a previous turbo car) as a roller.
It was pretty rough, as i take it has been sitting up for quite some time, and in dire need of some attention once again.
I immediately jumped on it, and started the process of bringing her back to life!
i know everyone wants pics-- so, ill first show how this thing was bought, (eye sore)
I jumped on getting it cleaned up before the guy i bought it from could even get out of my neighborhood lol
and, to my surprise... it cleaned up well, i havent had a chance to clay bar yet, but she shined up very well--
Few more shots after i started to swap over my saleens to the car, and as it sits in the garage as i get the motor ready to drop in (had a bunch of parts done in redfire for my black mach, having to redo everything in comp orange now)
lol, ridiculously huge rear tire (rims and tires are for sale! pm me, rear tires shot, fronts are new)
Plans:
First off, this thing will be running and possibly tuned not this weeked but next. (see sig for mods)
Im switching over to a team z k-member and a-arms since i bought that brand new for the mach, and i already sold the qa1 k-member and a-arms
Im in the process of putting my built rear end in, and my return fuel system and sumped tank
Cage is getting cut out, and my black insert 04 seats are going in
Already installed the heat exchanger, pump, battery relocation kit, tinted tail lights, etc.. preping for the motor install, motor is ready to go in minus putting timing cover, valve covers, and supercharger on--waiting on my gaskets from ford today to finish that.
So i will post some more pics as the motor goes in, and it gets on the streets.. maybe even a dyno vid with some results. Ordered everything i need to finish this car today, down to the oil and spark plugs.
Again, for all wanting to know whats going in this.. see sig, i basically just parked this next to my mach, and transferred everything over to this car. so its the same thing as the mach was, just a real cobra.
