Why not just run a 2.4 with stock lower? With the proper injectors and a boost a pump youll make a ton of power on E85. If you need more boost your better off upgrading to a KB 3.2 or whipple 4.0. You start to over spin the TVS when running a small upper and bigger lower.

Better off upgrading to a large blower that puts extreme amount of strain on the engine and particularly the crank snout? A 2.3 TVS can be overspun easily and actually shines when that happens. I made nearly 900whp on a 100% stock longblock and well over 1000whp on 2.65 TVS

If you've got the octane there's never too much boost.
There is a point of diminishing returns by overspinning a small blower but as above, start with an IW 10% and 2.4 upper and don't be shy with timing. E85 loves it.
How do you race the car--drag, roll, etc?

Just roll here and there

.........and that is where this "crank saver" is supposed to be beneficial......

When I install my IW 10%, I think it will be a Great time to also install the crank saver kit.
