Yes I use both coolers. Many people believe the Boss cooler just increases coolant temps, and they’re probably right but I don’t have overheating issues. I did have to use a Moroso sandwich plate to seal to the Boss cooler though.

5W-50 is what is used in the Boss 302s and I believe it was used in 13-14 track pack GTs. It’s more suitable for high temp track use, maintains proper viscosity.

What tracks have you been to?

So you use 5W 50 continuously? Any issues come up?

I have been to Atlanta Motorsports Park and Road Atlanta.

Which Moroso sandwich adaptor plate do you use? I located this one...

Nice driving. That's a tough course too; requires some balls to drive that hard there. It's not a penalty free course if you screw up.

Once the season's over I'll use 5W-20 for the colder Spring/Fall temps. No issues.

Two tracks I'd love to visit!

Which Mishimoto oil cooler do you use? There are a few options at American Muscle.

Wound having billet crank sprocket, oil gears, boss chain tensioners have any negative affect with the oil weight and/or aftermarket oil coolers?
