Which Cquartz coating are you thinking about trying?
Isn't it a ceramic coating/paint sealant. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I have always been a fan of traditional carnuba wax, but I am hearing more and more about true paint sealants and protectants.

Basically there are three main product types. Waxes, Sealants and Coatings.

We all know waxes 2-4 weeks - Nice warm look. Usually easy on/off.
Sealants: Usually a polymer liquid, goes on/off like a liquid wax. 2-4 months
Coatings: Usually a 50ml bottle will do 2 coats .
Application of a coating on/off is very different. Longevity: 2-3 years
