How does your gas mileage add up? I know the numbers they say but real world always differs (usually).

Thats something I like to hear. With the field I'm in, we put 40k miles per year roughly. Good to know it will last me.

I am well over 1000 lbs. I have
nice bin system in it with a raised floor. If I didn't have the
raised floor the van would be to small

I get all of the work vans in from Enterprise regularly, mostly the Transits and Promasters. Transits are far superior to the junk Promasters. Both take massive beatings as they rent them out to Amazon delivery so they come in damaged all over. The biggest thing you want to take care of is the doors, especially if it has sliders. On both vans they will jam up if they get beat on too hard but the Promaster's doors, whether they are hinged or sliders will stop working in general. The mechanisms they use are just awful. The door checks are another thing that can break easy and if they do then the doors run the risk of hyper-extending which can ruin the hinges and will cause the door to impact the fender. Overall you made the right choice and I doubt you will beat on it like the Amazon drivers do, but just so you know.

Right on, the more I hear about the TC the more I like it. Yeah I'm a little more careful than drivers who don't own the van. Thank you for the input!

    Ex-Ford service adviser here.

You won't have too many issues. As stated above, the sliding door's will be your biggest issue. But do yourself a favor and keep an eye on the brakes and do your normal maintenance on it. I had one come in that never had any maintenance done and the brakes ended up destroying the front hubs and the lack of engine maintenance wiped a cylinder. Funny thing is... they wanted us to pay for it all (out of warranty). Yea right.

    Stupid pizza place.

I have a 2015 XLT and love it. I got it 8/16 and I have 43k miles on it. It did need the valve body replaced in the tranny but it was covered by warranty. I get around 25 mpg mostly highway driving @ 80+mph

We install shelving and interiors in them and there are very well built. They do take forever to arrive in the US, having to be shipped over from Spain where they are built.
