My car has about 4500 miles on it and the clutch seems to grab very high on the pedal. No slippage but when changing gears i only have to push the clutch in about 1". The car is stock, has been to the track once on bias-ply cheater slicks, other than that just a normal life for a daily driver. Has anyone heard of an issue with the 18's? I did see a video on youtube with a low mileage 18 that had pressure plate bolts back out and shear off. I can say that the clutch engagement is no where near what it was just 1000 miles ago. Taking it to a dealer is just not an option at the moment. Thank you for any help you can offer.
