i got my car getting ready for tx2k
I have currently 275 radial pro
And I picked up the 315 version of the tire
Just wondering
If any of you put it on and had any rubbing issues or not rubbing issues
Just looking for feedback

Update
I got the tires on
The car is in middle of auto swap
And I can't road test it yet but I do have some info of these on the car
In the air
They rub the shocks slightly
On the ground they have a good bit of room but still cut it close
I will be uploading some pictures

It looks like it clears the shock
I will post more once I find out Monday or Tuesday when the car is on the road
And this week after the tune and bumper exit from jpc I will do some launches to see if it rubs or not
I mainly got this tire because I will be in Texas and I will be doing street and track "events" and a bigger tire in my experience works better on the street
Not trying to tell people that a smaller tire will not work
In fact a smaller tire will work better if it hooks but I will be doing "no prep" events
While I am down there

Can you post pics of it outside, in better light? Also, how do they work? I'm on Tapatalk, so I can't see your signature to know what your car makes or runs. Thanks...

Ok I have put roughly 1300 miles of street driving on this and some passes on the street and track
So for the car not to rub you need to be stock height in the rear
Take of the shock plastic cover
And the inner fender liner on the rear
As far as I remember
The shocks in the rear used to be set on too soft so it used to rub a little on full squat
With the shocks dialed in a little more car hooks hard
Even on the street with no prep it hooks damn good
At the track it's almost too much tire
Unless you are sub 8.50's
I pushed through the brakes on it
But overall I would do it again especially for a street tire
I'll upload some pictures

In the morning I will shoot some pictures of where the car rubbed
But it's very minimal
And I tried to show pictures that they do not really stick out much
I didn't want to play around with spinning too much
Car isn't anything crazy but it makes a little north of 800

Another update
Now I have a little over 3k miles on these specific tires
They do not rub too much
But I will be going to the 275 tire
It seems to kill 60' but they are great on the street
Overall no major issues with this setup

Did they rub!? Looking to run the same size tire
Not really
They have slight marks where it touched on full squat but not what people generally experience
No cutting in the tire or anything like that
They work damn good on the street
But for the track a 275 would be better
