Yes, direct fit. Just line up the LED wire to the harness wires like normal. I added a bit of silicone to keep them set. I also polished off some of the black paint masking on the bulb housing covers since they do not glare like the halogens.

77 cents per bulb shipped - delivered in 7 to 12 days.

Going to look into this thanks.

During the coolant change I ended up replacing the water crossover tube plug. Even though it was anti-seized it still took effort to remove it and it cracked some of the powder coating.

I am very happy with the new plug from Billetproshop.com. It is polished stainless steel, has dual O-rings and it also has a threaded plug hole ready for a temperature sensor. It uses a full socket to remove it too versus the little 1/4" hole on the stock one. It cost $43 shipped.

Car sound control

I have gone ahead and added SecondSkin Damplifier Pro mat throughout the trunk, rear package tray, etc. It has made a very noticeable improvement in my bass through improved punch and lack of buzzing panels.

It is pretty easy to do - just alot of labor cutting, applying and rolling. I also used a heat gun to improve the adhesion and flexibility.

I also wrapped the amplifier and power cables in rubber tubing.

I am not done yet as I have to finish the rear seat area, vertical trunk panels. I also found the springs inside the seat belt assembly buzzes and the only way to quiet that is to fully extend the seat belting or remove the rear seatbelts altogether.

More sound improvements:

I had to remove the rear seatbelts since their internals rattled due to the bass. The only other way to quiet them was to fully extend them and have tension on the belt.

A few summer updates

A few new installation updates:

Maximum Motorsports Koni MAX-4 Sport Series Damper Package and polyurethane bushings

New versus stock shock.

Reische Performance 170 deg Thermostat

Since I only drive my car in warm weather, this stat works well. Normally I would not recommend this low of an opening due to the software calibration, but given the heat our modified engines make, it is OK. I would not use this if it was a daily driver in the winter.

I changed every fluid in the car this past spring. I made an air compressor device to push in the new trans and diff oil

Clay barred and polished with light cut polish in these pictures. I had not done the Menzerna Final 3000 polish or the sealer yet.
