Looking to replace my "Ram" setup. I've noticed people want INSANE money for a freaking tube. JLT is nearly $300. Anyone making anything affordable or am I going to have to cobble something together?

Do you have the stock box and elbow inlet still? If so I've got a used K&N cone filter that goes on there I could let go cheap. They charge I think $200 for it

i have one that goes in the fender. the filter is down at the bottom. i got caught in a nasty south georgia monsoon one day...once it got to a certain RPM (like 4k, maybe?) the engine would bog because of the water it was pulling in. no bueno. i really need to address that, because we're subject to random deluges at any time in hot weather.

anyway, i'd advise to NOT put your filter low in the fender.
