My SVTF will be coming off an extended warranty soon. I would like to consider a chip for increased performance and possibly better gas mileage.

1) Which would you recommend and what is its ballpark price?
2) What would the power increase be in HP and Torque?

no chip.

get a flasher. SCT Xcal (2 or 3) or diablosport predator.

only 5-10 hp, but the midrange driveablity increases greatly.

nope, suspension is fine, that kit is for a "regular" focus...the SVT's suspension is totally different, and I dont think that kit will be an upgrade.

it also says its for 06-07

if your gonna change it, go with Coilovers.

I love them, and will never go back to a "regular" suspension.

Another option would the the FRPP Dynamic suspension P/N M-3000-ZXM, it's the approved suspension for the SCCA Spec Focus class and it really sharpens the handling of the SVT.

It's a bit stiff but not horrible fo rdaily use, I had it in my car a couple years ago and I'll be pulling my SVT dampers and KW springs in the next couple months and going back to the Dynamic kit because I miss the handling.

It's only about $330.00 as well which makes it very attractive in comparison to coilovers.

If cost isn't an issue then coilovers are certainly the best way to go and allow the most adjustability.

So again for the 2004 SVT Focus, regarding the M-3000-ZXM that you spoke of what are the odds of needing the M-5035-ZX3 (rear) and an aftermarket camber plates (front) for alignment purposes?

What are the cost figures for those two items?

The M-3000-ZXM kit has been discontinued.

The replacements are,

M-18000-ZXM $438.90 damper kit
M-5560-ZXM $126.50 spring kit

With those you will NOT need the adjustable subframe or camber plates as it does not drop the car enough to cause any issues.

Eh, how can the SVTF get any better in the handling department? It's already sharp, precise and brutal as it is! I take corners literally double the speed I did with any other car I've owned.

coilovers.

you think it handles good now....daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayum.
