Did the 93-95 L's have 19lb. or 24lb. injectors?

We are discussing the differences and similarities on the Cobra R forum between the 95R 5.8L and the 93-95 L 5.8L and the injector size has come into question. The 1993 Lightning SVT literature that I have says 24lb. injectors, but it also says roller lifter cam. My 95L literature states a flat tappet cam, but does not list the injector size.

They're 19lbs injectors with a flat tappet cam. 94-95 had a roller ready block but with same internals as a 93. Hope this helps.

Actually the 93-95 L's had 24#ers.... with GT40 heads and intake... I bought one new and still have it... still has the 24s...

Double check your info. Stock 93-95 Gen 1 Lightnings all came with 19lbs injectors......period. If they came with anything larger, the stock Speed Density ECU would have to have been modified with a Tweecer or other type of LM unit. FRPP did, however, sell a very hard to find Mass Air kit that came with 30lbs injectors but the stockers are indeed 19lbs unless changed. I was under the impression they had 24lbs aswell until I was corrected. I now have 30lbs with my 19lbs sitting in a crate. Check www.NLOC.net for more info.

They were #19s. I bought a 93 new and it had the orange top #19 injectors. I believe the #24s were light blue. I remember changing to red top #30s when I added a blower.

There were some 93's with roller ready blocks.

And as stated in the last 2 posts all Gen1's had 19# injectors
