Purchased Michelin Pilot 4s for rear in original size, 285/35/20. Trying to keep the same brand/pattern all around. It seems, it will be few month before the fronts come out in original size, 265/40/19. Do any of you running different front/back. Any disadvantages? The tire will be mostly driven on the street. Any suggestions appriciated.

A 275/40-19 would be about the same height as the rear if you wanted something wider. I've run a 285-40-19 on the OEM SVTPP rim when I had 315/35-20s on widened SVTPP rims, and there were no clearance issues, but it would be taller than the 285s in the rear.

I still want good stopping power and the grip in front. Probably best combo would be MPSS's for the front with 4S's in the back.

i am running MPSS in rear ( 295's) and the stock eagle F1's in the front.

the 295's fit great and get more rubber on the road. i would recommend them if going Michelin in the rear.
