Do the heated / cooled seats use different seat covers?

Hey Guys,

So my car has these ceramic white seats and I'm not a fan. Wanting to recover them with the all black seats. My car has the heated and cooled seats where air blows through the bottom and the back.

I've found black seat take offs from cars that got recovered with Roush seat covers etc. for sale but when I contact the sellers they are not sure if they came from heated & cooled seats nor are they sure it'll have the proper holes for the cooling/heating.

So does anyone know? Do the non heated / cooled seats have the same seat covers as the heated / cooled seats? I'd hate to recover my seats with one of these take offs only to find I no longer have the heating or cooling feature.

Or if someone likes the ceramic white look and has the all black and wants to swap these seats have less than 5k miles on them.

Pretty sure if it was a premium, only premium had factory leather, then they automatically came with climate control seats. That was a standard option on the premium pack mustangs

That should be the case. Check on ford's website under the build and price and see whats included equipment in the premium trim just to make sure. It should be listed there

I had black leather in the 400 trim (the including trim with premium package) and it had heated and cooled seats. The 400 trim is automatically included when you buy premium, you can upgrade it to 401a for some extra goodies for a couple grand more

So what's the difference between 400 seats and 401a seats?

Dont think there is one. Difference is in things like BLIS being included in 401a and not in 400. 401a also includes 12 speaker shaker system not including in 400. Has memory seats, mirror, and lighting function not found in 400, and has HD radio

Go to build and price on the mustang and look at the equipment group tab and click on the little "i" in the top right of the 400 group and the 401a group and it will list all features included with each trim level option. The 401a group is an extra 1795 added to the base price of the premium package
