Now I am waiting to see what pulley sizes they end up making. Hoping the make some bigger pullies. I would rather run a 10% 3.0-3.1 on pump gas then drop down to a 2.6-2.7 with E85 so there are no belt issues. With the flow mod I cannot run a aux pulley.

Justin did say that a 2.4 would be the smallest size available. It'll be interesting to see if they have some larger options for the pump gas/stock bottom end guys.

I hope they do, as I'd prefer to run with less power on the street.

I cant even wait to see what a built GT500 will do with this Gen 3, a 2.4 upper, 15% lower and E85.

I'll be running a 2.4 upper, 10% lower and C16 on a built 5.8 at the track. I'll post dyno results in here for anyone interested. So close to firing this thing up for the first time....hopefully Wednesday.

Stay tuned :)
I’m not bolting on a 2650 to run low boost, this 5.8 is built for a reason. The Gen2R was maxed so I want to first compare them at similar boost, but then it’ll be maxed Gen3 on E85.

When the Gen I came out they had pulley sizes as large as 3". I wouldn't think they'd attempt to limit the market. Pretty sure a 5.0 would need a larger pulley than a 5.4 or 5.8 too.

The 5.0s usually use a 6 or 8 rib on the larger pullies. I am hoping they bring back sizes up to the 3.0 in the 10 ribs for us.

VMP is coming out with a 10 rib Coyote setup, likely due to need with the Gen3. Should increase pulley size options.
We will likely need larger pulleys for the flow of Gen 3 and pump gas limits. I'm glad I run E85!

A 2013-2014 5.8 with full bolt ons and a TVS2650 should make 800rwhp easily.
But, I'm unaware of any GT500 results with a 2650, and I think we all looking forward to that!

They have not released any dyno numbers. Rebeccas car has one on it if anyone is going to lights out 9 you can see it in action. They also put one on the their towing F150.

Why do you want 800rwhp?
Is your engine built?
The stock blower can get there and the VMP Gen2R can make 900rwhp on a built 5.4/5.8.
Yes the 2650 will be capable of 800rwhp

i want 800 rwhp because thats what my Trinity engine can handle in stock internals, and with the 2650 you dont need UD pulley to get that number, also will work more efficiently than the Gen2r

Yes it will be more effective and efficient from getting that number from a stock Trinity. What are your goals with the car? A stock 5.8 at 800rwhp will need some care—meaning respecting the limits and using good fuel a lower shift point and great tune. Racing at that level will also be pushing it.
A lower pulley is better than an upper by giving you an upgraded SFI part that’s larger for less belt slip. We don't know what the 2650 will like regarding pulley ratio, but I'm guessing a 10% lower 2.6 upper will be hot setup for 800+rwhp.
You may be right on the stock lower and 2.6 upper being good for your goal.
I think the Gen 3 will be the right blower for you, but recognize the engine will need to be built sooner than later.
