The cars first pass would have been drug by WHO? Point him out please? OH ya thats right the one at the bottom with SAME boost upgrade and bolt on mod ZR1 just like the GT500 but only by just a few mph......

also I am not paying attention to couple tenths Im more impressed with MPH...

Being a born Ford guy I'm ok with it. I figured mid 10s but wow soon to be 9s.

i'd like to know the entire mod list. I know its probably not much because of the power plant it starts with, but usually with shop cars they lighten up the car, slap on some suspension stuff, and a few little things they learn over the years of doing shop cars. Add the fact that you probably got a serious driver too. I know it shows the potential of the car, but without knowing what exactly has been done its hard to gauge.

Yes your ideal conditions good driver with 100s of passes ZR1 run low tens on DR, i get it. There are also 750hp cammed ones from lethal and other companies that have run low 10's at 140ish. Some have even gone 9.80's thats why im saying the GT 500 is in the ballpark.

we can admit it..the car is stupid fast...thats a fact! You were the first person to bring up the GT500 vs ZR1 many threads ago. Not us. Like i said....i am overly confident you wont find many GM guys bashing the GT500 in any thread for any reason..price, availability, yada yada...but you find a lot of people bashing a very nice low 12 second ZL1. look back through all of my posts. You wont find a single one about me saying the GT500 is bad other than the mark up dealers hit them with taking them damn near $75-80k. Period.

None of my posts were aimed at you...but i agree...the GT500 is a great car and i think it is amazing the market has gotten this fast. I remember in the late 90s when i got my first LT1 car with bolt ons...mid/low 13s back then seemed crazy lol...

I just always get annoyed at most of these threads knocking the ZL1..then saying the GT500 is in ZR1 and Z06 area. Most of the people in this thread commenting on how slow it is are driving cars slower than the ZL1 is stock. Rant over.
