The wife gave me a pressure washer for christmas and I've been looking into foam cannons. It will be used lightly.

The pressure washer I have is SunJoe 2030 (2030 PSI/1.76 GPM).

What recommendations do you all have?

I have the same as above (not MATCC, but a $20 one) and after 3 years, it's still going strong!

I purchased a inexpensive cannon and was unhappy with the performance.

My suggestion would be

These are the real deal...not chinese knock offs. Do it once...Do it right.

Are you able to confirm if that foam cannon works with the Sun Joe? I got the pressure washer for xmas too, and am wanting to get a foam cannon. Was reading mixed results about some of the other ones I was looking at because they 1/4 fittings and the Sun Joe has a M22 metric fitting.

That's easy.

Sorry, just noticed I didn't insert the quote. I was referring to the MATCC one referenced above. I've been digging through more reviews on it though and it does seem like it'll work out.

Dodo Juice - .

Read this too fast. Thought it said "doodoo juice." Laughed. Very mature, I know...

I use a Chemical Guys Torq foam cannon with an electric power washer. It works great, throws a lot of foam for a low GPM system. I'd imagine with a gas system and nearly double the output, I'd have to watch out for wild Marco Rubios running in to jump in the suds.

Just remember, warm water, mix by turning the unit upside down, do not shake. Makes a noticeable difference vs cold water and shaking it up.

What pressure washer do you use? I have an electric 1700psi Greenworks and use this cannon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZOT9NNW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Personally, it covers very well and I use cold water. I'm sure with a stronger pressure washer and even warm water, it'll be even better. Next time the weather is nice here, I'll take a video showing how it does. I also use Chemical Guys Super Suds soap (going to try something different).

Oddly enough I use the "baby" Home Depot
Ryobi 1,600-PSI 1.2-GPM Electric Pressure Washer
Model# RY141600

I like it because:

It's easy to use.
It's small and electric.
I only use it to foam pre-wash a car.
I can put in on the shelf when I'm done.
It gives thick suds with a quality foam cannon.
It doesn't suck tons of product (soap) out of the bottle.
I get done foaming a car and I'll still have 1/2 bottle left.
It's not good for much else. (I.E. Peeling paint off a wall)
So IMHO it's pretty safe on car paint with a foam cannon.
