Wherever the gov't tells me.
I'll start off saying this - I've deployed with every branch and respect each one for what they do. They are the best at their given trade.

Having said that - I'm an active duty Air Force recruiter. I've said something like this a time or 2 in an appointment lol

Ehh, I scored a 90 and joined the Army Reserves because at the time the Air Force had a year long wait list to become a Biomed.

I was a single 2-striper at Kadena in Okinawa and the damn AF sent me TDY to the Philippines for 63 days! Had to stay downtown too because billeting was full (Cope Thunder/Combat Sage). It was absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! :p

Nice! I went on a Guard TDY to Vegas for 6 months and roughed it in my own furnished 2-bed/2-bath apartment with rental car and free gas. Plus $50/day per diem.

You and me both brother! I actually had an assignment to Clark for all of 23 days before Pinatubo blew its load and ruined my plans... probably was for the best though because I was married by then. Marriage + assignment to Clark = potential disaster!

One team, one fight.

I say, do what appeals to you. There are plenty of people in the Air Force that would never cut it in the Army or Marines, and plenty in other branches that would never make it in the Air Force.

At the end of the day, if someone feels like they honestly need to belittle someone else for their choice, they are probably pretty small and insecure.

Nothing wrong with a little ribbing though, I'd laugh but I've heard it before.

I was a Marine Corps recruiter from 07-10 and I can say this might be just a little true.. haha Then again a large percentage of 18-26 year olds couldn't even pass the ASVAB.

the AF made me go to Vegas seven times. Once, they even made me stay in the damned Excalibur casino cause billeting was full on base. can you believe that??

they even sent me to Iceland once for three months. it was so bad there, they paid me $104/day to stay on the island. it was terrible.

palace chased to reserves, just got back from AT. sent me to CO Springs for two weeks. last year, they forced me to go to England. both times, they had the audacity to tell me i had to work. can you believe the nerve of some people?...

AF is horrible.
