I have a jlt cai with roush a/b and am thinking of doing cat deletes.
Just wondering for those that have done this, do you have any regrets about the loudness or sound.

It's really loud and at certain rpms (2-2.5k) it trumpets with particular throttle levels. Always happens to be the level I'm on. Sound is ludicrous at WOT and I love it. I have thought about changing but then I tip into the throttle and forget about the volume. Not a good neighbor because I'm keeping it.

I just did my cat deletes and I have Hushpowers w/o resonators..........the car is so loud now at 1/2 throttle it's scary. I can't imagine how loud the Roush would be with off road pipes. I think I will be going the GT500 route, or might put the stockers back on.

I have O/R/X and magnaflow competition series cat back. I know its not the exact question however I think the magnaflow comp series are close to the roush in terms of noise?

Anyways..... love mine and dont care at all that its loud.

I went to the stockers and they sounded ''tinny''. The Gt500s are perfect if you don't want your neighbors hating you yet still want to sound good.

I had the Roush a/b with an off road x and didnt like it. I'm all for loud cars but it did not sound good at all driving around town. At WOT is was pretty ignorant which I did like.

Debating on a O/R H with my SLP axle back myself. My friend has a O/R H and a magnaflow competition axle back, so I want to be louder than him lol

It's a love/hate thing for me. Some days I think it sounds so bad I'm embarrassed from the flappy raspy sounds an other days it has a nice pure tone and I love it.

I kinda think my car is too slow for the volume
