From a D1sc to an F1a-94 on my 2012 GT. What to expect?

I'm running a Procharger setup on my 2012 GT that uses a D1sc head unit, race intercooler, wastegate, and makes 18psi using a 3.55 pulley. With a 7.65 crank pulley/3.55 blower pulley x step up ratio of 4.10 and spinning to 7600rpm the D1sc is being spun at 67,147rpm. The D1sc's max speed is rated to 62,000rpm.

The car made 868whp and 755wtq with this setup on a dynojet. The car was run in 4th gear (1.32 on an MT82) and on drag tires. It's been 9.6 at 147mph when making 825whp 724wtq.

I'm installing an F1a-94 with a 4.13 blower pulley. Using the same crank pulley at 7.65/4.13 x a 5.40 step up ratio at 7600rpm this blower will be at 76,018rpm and it's at the max impeller speed also. I will keep the wastegate set at 18psi.

What should I expect when going from a small blower maxed out to a race blower making the boost easier? I've searched this topic and mostly turbocharger info comes up. With using the same boost level the F1a-94 should have a much cooler/denser air charge but it also takes more power to spin. Will the new head unit make a lot more power on the same boost?

Thanks!
Andrew

I just installed the blower last night and took it to a local cars and coffee this morning. Since I did not have the correct length belt for the 4.13 pulley I went with the 3.55 to get the car running. I made a short pull from 4000rpm in third up to 6500rpm.

It started out lazy at 4000rpm with building boost slow. At around 5500rpm the car went from making 8psi to 18psi and hit the wastegate shortly after that. Even though its a supercharger the power rolled in like a big turbo car. Once it came on it was an absolute riot. I logged the pull and will send it over to my tuner for review. I'll make sure to update this post with further info/dyno/track times

I had the car out today and did some data logging. The car had belt slip pretty bad with the Goodyear 8 rib belt and was slipping above 15psi. With the 4.13" pulley on the F1a-94 making 15psi it is moving the same amount of air(using MAF hz) my D1sc was when making 18.5psi. So to answer my own question the new blower will make more power at the same PSI.

I'm going to order another Gates RPM belt for the 3.9" and 4.13" pulleys and do some more data logging.

The 3.9" pulley with the Gates RPM belt made some power today! There was zero belt slip and the car was on the wastegate by 6800rpm. The boost was reading in the 21-22psi range up top and then it blew off the first discharge pipe. That in turn let the crank pulley eat my Tail wastegate all to pieces and also took out the new RPM belt. Rough day combined with a slightly curbed rim has me thinking I need a week or two break from the car. LOL shit happens

sorry for the late reply but yes some have compared the fseries to the P/D series like a light switch ie on/off.
