I've decided to sell my 2004 Cobra. Only reason I'm selling is I want to focus more on my other car and make the garage usable again (in terms of space).
This just rolled over 100k miles, but would not be able to tell from looking at it. The body is in excellent condition, with not a single ding or dent to be found. Only damage to be found is along the bottom of the side skirts where there are some rock chips from being driven. Interior is also in great shape.
Mechanically the car is in excellent shape also, I had it compression checked last summer and came out excellent across all cylinders (all cylinders within a couple psi). Hasn't been on the dyno, but similar builds are making a hair over 600 to the wheel. Transmission is a T56 6 speed and still shifts perfectly between every gear, I also just installed a new McLeod RXT twin disc clutch that honestly has better driveability than the Dual Friction the previous owner had installed.
Was recently e-tuned and comes with the SCT tuner w/ a tune for 91 as well as a 95 tune when using Torco or a similar octane booster.
Only things that I would do in the near future is replace the AC compressor (works fine, just the clutch is making clicking noises when it's disengaged). PCV system has been removed with a breather filter installed, I'd install a catch can on the passenger side breather, as that is where most the ventilation takes place on these engines.
I'm looking for $18,000 OBO. This is one of 299 ever made with Screaming Yellow, only found on the 2004 models...
Mod list:
2.4 Kenne Bell supercharger
JLT CAI with screen added to calm turbulence over MAF
SCT BigAir MAF
Accufab oval throttle body
Fresh set of BilletFlow Idlers with a 2.93" BilletFlow supercharger pulley (about 19# boost)
FRPP 60# injectors with a KB Boost-a-Pump, has had PPRV delete done
AFCO heat exchanger
Expanded intercooler coolant tank
On/Off switch wired to run IC pump with engine off
EGR delete
PCV delete, like I said, would run a catch can then vent to atmosphere to keep the valve covers clean
Fresh set of NGK plugs, gapped at .026 to prevent blowout
McLeod RXT twin disc clutch
McLeod lightweight rebuildable aluminum flywheel
DSS Aluminum one piece driveshaft
Freshly rebuilt 8.8 rear end, new clutch pack for the LSD
FRPP 3.73, a little shorter to compensate for the taller drag radials
FRPP differential cover
Short throw shifter
JBA offroad H pipe
Borla Stinger mufflers (this car is very loud, sorry neighbors)
2 pod A Piller gauges, with 2 AeroForce Interceptor SVT gauges installed
2 pod steering column gauges, with AEM Wideband UEGO and an SVT Boost gauge
It's currently running Nitto NT555s on the front with a set of MT ET Street R radials on the rear. Also has a fresh set of carbon ceramic pads installed. I'm sure there is a bunch of things I'm forgetting. Thanks!
Note: I will get the picture with my username put up as soon as I make it back home tonight.
